Iva Irene F Ayres (daughter of Herbert Ellsworth Ayres and Margaret Belle Brighton) was born June 21, 1895 in Cambridge Twp, and died August 25, 1976 in Adrian, MI. She married Lloyd Alton Derby on November 29, 1916.

Iva Derby, 81, of 338 Greenley St., Adrian, died at 8:15 am today at the Wotring Nursing, 507 Dennis Street, where she had been a patient for two years. Mrs Derby was born June 21, 1895 in Cambridge Twp, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert Ayres.

On November 29, 1916 she married Lloyd Derby. He died in 1973. Mrs Derby is survived by one brother, Howard Ayres of Adrian; one sister, Mrs Genevieve Pearce of Van Nuys, CA; one dtr-in-law, Mrs Arlene Derby of Adrian and one grand-daughter, Mrs Gerald (Karen) Miller of Blissfield.

Mrs Derby was a member of St Mary's Church and its Rosary Society. Services will be at 10 am Monday at St Mary's Church, with the Rev Fr William Carolin officiating. A bible vigil will be held at 7 pm Thursday at the Dunmore Funeral Home.
