Genevieve Marie Ayres (daughter of Herbert Ellsworth Ayres and Margaret Belle Brighton) was born December 10, 1904 in Onsted, MI, and died May 03, 1984 in Riverside, CA. She married Arlie Pearce on February 06, 1921.

Genevieve Marie Pearce was born December 10, 1904 in Onsted to Herbert E and Margaret Brighton Ayres. On Feb 6, 1921 she married Arlie Pearce, he died in 1959. Mrs Pearce moved to Monroe from Adrian in 1945 and left Monroe in 1960 to live in California. She was employed by Monroe Convalescent Center and St Mary Convent.

She was a graduate of St Mary's High School in Adrian. Surviving are one son, Richard of Gibraltar; two daughters, Mrs Paul E (Virginia) Peters of Monroe and Jean Carver of Sun City; 12 grandchildren. She was also proceeded in death by one brother, and three sisters. Graveside services will be 2 pm Monday at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, MI with the Rev Daniel Rebain of St Michaels officiating. Arrangements were made by Earl Little Funeral Home in Monroe.
