Herbert Roy Ayres (son of Elvin Ayres and Addie R Bonney) was born November 21, 1878 in Springville, Mi, and died January 27, 1917 in Flint, MI. He married Grace Anna Hand on March 09, 1904.

Herbert Roy Ayres, 64, of 6070 Clinton-Macon Rd, Clinton, MI, died Sunday morning Sept. 11, 1977 at herrick Hospital. He was born November 5, 1912 in Springville, MI., the son of Herbert and Grace Hand-Ayres. He was a grasduate of Onsted High School in 1930. He married Marian Rhoades July 11, 1939, she survives. He was a member of theTecumseh Masonic Lodge. The Ayres have resided at their current address for the past 30 years. In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters: Mrs Robert (Joanne) Frick on Morango, CA. and Mrs John (Elizabeth) Swisher of Ann Arbor, MI; one son Herbert R AYres III of PArchment, MI; two brothers, Evard of Mesa, AZ and Merton of Ventura, CA\ three sisters, MArie Ayres, and Mrs Emma Bennett both of ANn Arbor and Mrs Doris Mack of Jackson, MI; also five grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am at the Proctor Funeral Home in Tecumeseh with Rev Donald Bates officiating, interment will be Macon Cemetery.
