Harriet Belle "Hattie" Ayres (daughter of Andrew Jackson Ayres and Julia Anne Brighton) was born June 20, 1881 in Springville, MI, and died March 22, 1944 in Blissfield, MI. She married George E Fiske on June 24, 1900.

Mrs Harriet Belle Fiske, wife of George E Fiske, died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs Betty Mead of 401 Jipson Street, Blissfield, where she had lived for the last four years. She had been in failing health for the past 17 years.

Born in Springville June 20, 1879, she lived much of her life in Toledo. She is survived by her husband George E Fiske of Windsor, Ont, her daughter, Mrs Mead of Blissfield, one sister, Mrs Neva Jacobs, brothers Pearl Ayres of Lansing, Jesse Ayres of Collingswood, NJ, Fay Ayres of Adrian and Gloyd Ayres of Toledo. She is proceeded in death by her mother Mrs Julia M Ayres five years ago and her father Andrew Jack Ayres two years ago.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm in the Everiss Funeral Home, the Rev Herbert Brubaker of the Blissfield Methodist church officiating. The burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
