Neal D Ayres (son of Andrew Jackson Ayres and Julia Anne Brighton) was born August 07, 1898 in Wolf Creek, MI, and died November 26, 1922 in Adrian, MI.

Neil B Ayres, 24, died at 8 o'clock Sunday night at his home, 617 Division Street. His death, which was caused by Brights disease, was proceeded by an illness of three years. He had been confined to his bed for the last eight weeks.

Mr Ayres was born August 7, 1898 at Wolf Creek. He came to Adrian with his family when he was a small boy and made his home here for a number of years. When he was aged 14 he went to Alberta, Canada, where he lived for some time with his sister, Harriet Fiske. He has been Adrian the past two years.

He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Andrew J Ayres of 617 Division Street, four brothers, Jesse of Collingwood, PA. Purl of Garretsville, OH and John F and Gloyd of this city and two sisters, Mrs Fiske of Adrian and Neva Jacobs of Sand Lake.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Christ Episcopal Church, the Rev B Z Stambaugh officiating and the burial is to be made at Oakwood Cemetery.
