Mortuary Record Vishey
Another of Saginaw's pioneers passed away Monday evening at 9 o'clock
when John Vishey laid down life's burdens and entered into rest, joining
his wife, who preceded him only about three years ago. Mr. Vishey had
lived in the city for nearly half a century, and was well known and
highly esteemed. His death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Rilla Beach, in Taymouth, where the family have resided for a year.
Another daughter, Mrs. T. Denton, of this city, also survives him. The
funeral will take place at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning from the home of
Mrs. Beach. Rev. E. R. Clark, officiating, and the remains will be
brought to this city and be interred in Forest Lawn cemetery. Source:

The funeral of the late John Vishey took place yesterday morning from
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rilla Beach in Taymouth. Rev. E. R.
Clark officiated and the remains were brought to Forest Lawn cemetery
for interment. Where a number of Saginaw friends attended the
