bullet Joseph HOVINGTON I found two marriage dates for Joseph Hovington and Adelaide Auclair. 14 May 1821 at St. Andrew's protestant church of Quebec City and 19 March 1829 Tadoussac. It may be that the first was a Protestant marriage and the second a Catholic marriage. I found a file that indicates that Joseph was born in about 1791 in Durham, England and Baptized 19 March 1828/29 in Tadoussac, P. Q. After arriving in Quebec, Joseph was employed by the Hudson Bay Company.
