The newspaper article lists her as the widow of Arthur Duprez. According to my records his name was Arthur Dupres and NOT Duprez. Here is the obituary using the name Dupres instead of Duprez. ALICE V. DUPRES... retired pressser of Lowell; 83*****LOWELL---Alice V. (Lanier) (St. Armand) Dupres, 84, died Friday morning, Aug 25, 2000 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Arthur Dupres. She was born in Lowell, May 5, 1916, the duaghter of the late Wilfred and Rose-Anna (Hubert) Lanier. She was a resident of Lowell for amny years and also linved in Merrimack, N. H. Mrs. Dupres was employed as a presser with Liberty Countrywear Co. In Lowell for more than 19 years. She was a member of the Senior Citizens club of Lowell. She was a former communicant of Ste. Jeann D' Arc Church in Lowell and had recently attended the Immaculate Conception Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Russell Jolin of Merrrimack, N. H.; two sons and daughters-inlaw, Arthur and Shirley (Hoban) Dupres of Cape Coral, Fla. and Raymond and Marie (LaFreniere) St. Armand of Lowell; two sisters and a brother-in-Law, Rita Bourque of Lowell and Theresa and Andre Pelletier of Centreville, Ohio, Five Grandchildren, Kevin Jolin and his wife, Lisa of Portsmouth, N. H. Michael Jolin and his wife, Tara of Milford, N. H. Nancy Ozella and her husband, Richard of Merrimack, N. H. Richard St. Armand and his wife Florence of Anchorage, Alaska, and Arthur Dupres Jr. and his wife Barbara of Cape Coral, Fla.; nine great grandchilden, Adam and Ryan Fallon, Matthew and Jameson Ozella, Bryan, Andrew and Jennifer St. Armand, Barbara and Diedra Dupres; also many nieces and Nephews. She was also the grandmother of the Late Barbara Fallon, great-Grandmother of the late Erin Marin Fallon and sister of the late Doris Bernier, Blanche Daigle, William, Roland , Leo and Armand Lanier. A funeral notice also follows stating that the funeral mass will be at 12 Noon at Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell, and the burial will at in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford, Mass. LANIER ** Armand A. Lanier, a lifelong resident of this city, and a veteran of World War II, died Wednesday night at St. Joseph's hospital aged 32. He served as a private in the infantry division. He made his home at 217 Salem St. and was a member of "La Legion Franco-Americaine". He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfrid (Hubert) Lanier; five sisters, Mrs. Oscar Daigle; Mrs. Arthur Dupres, Mrs. Paul Bourque, and the Misses Doris and Therese Lanier. Three borthers, Leo and William Lanier of this city, and Seaman-1C Roland Lanier, U. S. Navy, in Bremen, Germany, and his grandfather, Hildege Hubert. Parents: Wilfrid LANIER and Rose-Anne HUBERT.
