Charles Esco Adams of Cantwell (St Francois County, Mo), passed away at midnight Saturday, April 1, 1950, in Bonne Terre Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. A retired employee of the St Joseph Lead Company, he was 61 years 11 months 9 days of age.

A son of the late Nelson and Belle Gaston Adams, he was born in Greeley (Reynolds County,), Missouri, on April 9, 1888. He was united in marriage on February 8, 1913, to Miss Grace Clark of Greenville (Wayne County), Missouri, who survives.

He also leaves a daughter, Miss Vivian Adams, and two sons, Clyde and James Adams, all of Cantwell, and three grandchildren, Sally Rae, Harlan Gene and Clyde Dean Adams, besides other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Adams united with the Oak Grove Baptist Church near Leeper, Mo., in 1906, and remained true to the faith until death.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, April 4, at the Cantwell Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Arthus R Hicks, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Flat River. Interment was in St Francios Memorial Park, with Sparks Service

He was married to GRACE CLARK on 8 Feb 1913. CHARLES ESCO ADAMS and GRACE CLARK had the following children:
