LLAN SCHROEDER:
Mrs. Frank Alexander, 52 years old, wife of Frank W. Alexander of Buffalo, died at her home, 527 Riley St. Buffalo, Monday, Oct. 17th, the anniversary of her sister's Reca death. Born in Attica, on September 2, 1875, she spent her early life in this village. She was the daugther of Christian Schroeder of Market street.
She leaves four childern, Mrs Bernard Geitner of Attica, Ralph A. of Cambridge, Mass., Ruth M and Mildred H., at home. There are two grandchildern. She also leaves three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ernest Drewitt of Coneaut, O., Mrs. Henry Blackburn of Buffalo, Mrs. Frank Troan of Rochester and William M. Schroeder of Attica.
The funeral was held at the family home, Buffalo, this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. C.E. Odell, officiating. Burial was in Buffalo.

IILIAM M. C. SCHROEDER:
William M. C. Schroeder, linotype operator for the Attica News for 43 years, who was born in Attica. Nov. 23, 1881, son of Christian and Sophia Bartels Schroeder died at Rosewell-Park Memorial Hospital. Buffalo at 1 p.m. Feb. 18, 1951 after being in poor health for some time.
He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Attica Exempt Fireman, Attica Lodge No. 462, F. & A.M. and Older Boys Club.
Funeral services were held from St. Luke's church at 2 p. m., Wednesday with Rev. Chas. C. Campbell, officiating. The remains will be cremated.
Besides his wife. the former Clara Mengs, he is survived by a son Willard and two grandchildern; seven neices and five nephews also survive.
"Bill" as everyone knew him, started in the printing business at the Old News office, as a printer in July 1897, transferring to the Wyoming Advocate, as operator of the 'then-new' Simplex Typsetting machine in 1902. But in 1907 he returned to The News to operate the linotype, where he stayed until he retired in May, 1950. In all, 53 years in the printing business, 43 of the time with The Attica News.
