A small marker on the south side of the large monument with the initials HBS. He was a Share Cropper in Cass/Bartow County, GA. Share Cropped for a Mr. Tumlin on the Etowah Indian Mounds. Tombstone reads: A friend to his Country and a believer in Christ

Also on the tombstone are the letters: F.L.T. He was married to Eliza Caroline FIELDS on Feb 19 1874.

She died on Jul 28 1930 in At her home in Fitzgerald. ⁽⁸⁾ She was buried on Jul 30 1930 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, Bartow County, GA.⁽⁸⁾ Oak Hill Cemetery is the Cartersville, GA city cemetery.
