67. Mary Alice SUHR ⁽¹⁾ was born on 26 Dec 1928 in Bayard, Morrill County, NE. Mary was born December 26 1928 in Bayard, Morrill County, NE. to George Dewey Suhr and Caroline Alzada Gartman. She married Hank Kraus January 8, 1948. They moved to Pine Bluffs, WY in 1948, where Hank worked on a ranch and farm. Their daughter Joyce Collen was born August 18, 1948 in Kimball.

In the spring of 1949 they moved to a farm 6 miles east of Bayard and began a farming career. Terry was born at Bridgeport on January 7, 1950. In 1951 they moved to a farm east and north of Minatare where they farmed for 17 years. In December of 1966 they moved to a farm north and east of Bayard where they farmed until 1983 when they held a farm auction and retired to Bayard.

She was married to Henry H. KRAUS on 8 Jan 1948 in Gering, Scotts Bluff County, NE. Henry H. KRAUS⁽¹⁾ was born on 19 Aug 1920 in Bayard, Morrill County, NE.⁽⁶⁰⁾ He died on 25 Jan 1998 in Bayard, Morrill County, NE. ⁽⁶¹⁾ He was buried on 28 Jan 1998 in Bayard, Morrrill County, NE. ⁽⁶²⁾ Hank was born August 19, 1920 in Bayard to Pete and Margaret (Reitz) Kraus. He received his education in country schools in Morrill County. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1942 where he served with the Aviation Engineers building air strips in Churchill, Canada and the Pacific during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1945.

He was united in marriage to Mary Suhr January 8, 1948 in Gering, Scotts Bluff County, NE. Hank died January 25, 1998 at home in Bayard. He is buried in the Bayard Cemetery in Bayard, Morrill County, NE. He was an avid toy tractor collector and enjoyed woodworking. He was a lifetime member of Faith United Church of Christ. 133 i. Joyce Colleen KRAUS⁽¹⁾ was born on 18 Aug 1948 in Kimball, Kimball County, NE. She died on 21 Dec 1974 in Kearney, NE. She was buried on 26 Dec 1974 in Bayard, Morrill County, NE. Colleen was born August 18, 1948 to Mary Suhr and Hank Kraus in Kimball. She attended the Minatare Highland School district and graduated from the Minatare High School. Colleen attended Chadron State College graduating in January 1970. She did her student teaching in Scottsbluff. In January 1970 she began her teaching career in Alma and Orleans, NE. She died in 1974 at Kearney, NE hospital from viral pneumonia and allergic reaction to penicillin. Colleen is buried in the Bayard Cemetery in Bayard, Morrill County, NE
