34. Jonathan SWINDLE appeared on the census in 1800 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. Shown as head of household, listed as 26 to 45. Johnathan Swindell moved to Beaufort County after the 1810 census and Papers.
He was married to Fanny WILLIAMSON (daughter of Henry WILLIAMSON). Fanny WILLIAMSON died before Apr 1825. According to a letter found in the John Gray Blount Papers, Fanny Swindell was deceased by 04/1825 leaving a daughter who married Wilson Daniel and three sons under age. The letter also states that Johnathan Swindell was living in Bay River, Beaufort County. He died in Beauford County abt 1847 leaving wife, Salina E., and children Isaac G., Megatlin, Johnathan, Salina, John A., Brittanna, and Joel L.
