48. Joshua SWINDLE Sr. appeared on the census in 1790. He died in 1817. May have had two wives; Betsy Swindell was named guardian in will.

He was married to Elizabeth RASCOE (daughter of Daniel RASCOE) before 1790. Joshua SWINDLE Sr. and Elizabeth RASCOE had the following children:
