He was married to Mary Ann Veal CREDLE (daughter of Tilson G. CREDLE and Ellen SLADE) on Mar 5 1879 in Swanquarter, North Carolina. Mary Ann Veal CREDLE was born on Jan 4 1862 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. She died on May 9 1948 in Beaufort Co., North Carolina. She was buried in Beaufort Co., North Carolina. Odd Fellows Cemetery West Bellhaven, N.C. Her parents died when she was young and she was raised by an uncle. He was a doctor. Gilbert G. HARRIS and Mary Ann Veal CREDLE had the following children:
