1732. Elbert Milburn "Mutt" HARRIS was born on Jan 17 1916 in Swanquarter, North Carolina. Drafter into the Army in 1941. Served in the 29th Engineers who built the ALCAN Highway from Canada to Alaska. He was with the 533rd Engineer, Boat and Shore Regiment.
