745. Fountain Elliott Pitts WRIGHT was born on Sep 22 1837 in White Co., Tennessee. He died on Sep 29 1875 in Moniteau Co., Missouri. Civil War: Enrolled 08/11/1862 at California, MO (for 3 tears) he was on the rolls until 06/30/1865 and was mustered out on 08/10/1865 at bebtin barracks, St Louis, MO. He was "sick in quaretes" from 09/04 thru 09/07, 1863...

his first two sons probably were named for his brothers....Hiram & James, who died in the Civil War. He had "the feaver" in the civil War and died from the effects of it.

Missouri Wright genealogists said he died from lead poisoning...from the bullets left in him.

He was in Co B, 33rd MO Reg....his certificate states he was 5'9" tall, sandy complexion, blue eyes and auburn hair.

Both he and his wife had red hair...so did all five of their children.

He was married to Verienia SUGGS (daughter of Charles SUGGS and Elizabeth GANTOR (?)) on Jan 21 1858 in Moniteau Co., Missouri. Verienia SUGGS was born on Mar 10 1842 in Missouri. She died on Mar 25 1927 in St. Helena, Napo Co., California. Fountain Elliott Pitts WRIGHT and Verienia SUGGS had the following children:

child1214 ii. Elizabeth Christian WRIGHT was born on Nov 25 1858 in Moniteau Co., Missouri. She died on Jan 9 1859 in Moniteau Co., Missouri. She was buried in Moniteau Co., Missouri. Flag Springs Cemetery.
