Co., South Carolina. In 1793 George Swindle sold his land in Madison Co., Virginia.
At that time his wife's name was Hannah. When George died 09/08/1812 in Laurens
Co., S.C. his widow was called Hannah. The reason for the two names, Hanna &
Catherine, is not clear.
On 07/25/1793: Sold 250 acres on Robinson River on Big Dark Run for 350 pounds
to Joseph Carpenter. (Madison County Deed Book 1)
At the time of death George owned 300 a 300 acre plantation on the north side
of the Saluda River.
He was married to Catherine RASOR about 1780 in Culpepper
Co.(Now Madison Co.), Virginia. George SWINDLE and Catherine
RASOR had the following children:

Madison Co.), Virginia. One sources says birth in New Jersey. George SWINDLE
and Hannah CORNELIUS had the following children:
