16. Caleb SWINDLE Sr. was born between 1738 and 1742 in Albemarie, Hyde Co., North Carolina. He signed a will on Nov 26 1790. He died about 1791. He had an estate probated in Feb 1791 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. In October 1841 Caleb gave power or attorney to his brother John, Jr.

He was married to Keziah before Aug 25 1767 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. Keziah was born about 1750 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. She died about 1810 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. Caleb SWINDLE Sr. and Keziah had the following children:

Caleb SWINDLE Sr. had the following children:

child52 i. Timothy John SWINDLE died before Feb 25 1764. On 02/25/1764 John Junior sold land as the owner by inheritance from Timothy Swindle.

child+54 iii. Eleanor SWINDLE.
child+55 iv. Susanna SWINDLE.

He was married to Elizabeth.
