He was married to Sarah "Sally" Credle SPENCER. Sarah "Sally" Credle SPENCER was born on Aug 26 1821 in Hyde Co., North Carolina. She appeared on the census in 1850. 28 in 1850. She died after 1910. Thomas Dupree SWINDLE and Sarah "Sally" Credle SPENCER had the following children:
