Our family began near Kennan, WI on an 80 acre dairy farm where I was born 0n Aug 14, 1934. My parents were William F. Tews and Rose Mary (Gillett) Tews. My paternal grandparents were Herman and Auguste (Parpart) Tews. My maternal grandparents were Albert and Melvina (Dibble) Gillett. I would love to locate more of my ancestors.
I left the farm when I grew up and joined the US Air Force. I served for 22 years and 5 months. While stationed at Griffiss AFB, NY (Rome, NY) I met my wife Sally Ann Vanselow. We married on July 2, 1956. On April 24, 1958 the Lord blest us with our first son Paul. He was born at Griffiss AFB Hospital, Rome, NY. On June 1, 1959 the Lord added another son to our family. He also was born at Griffiss AFB, Rome, NY. We named him Mark. On June 4, 1961 at Jackson, AL the Lord added Bobbie Jean to our family. Last but not least Margaret made her appearance in Antigo, WI on July 25, 1966. Of course these four now have added their families and the tree continues to grow. Paul married Sonja and they now have Libby. Mark married Kathy and they have Alex & Zach. Bobbie Jean married Jeff Wich and they have Daniel & Jason. Margaret married Richard Fonseca and they have Sabrina and Rebbecca
