160. Gottlieb Abraham DIETMANN was born about 1747 in Rendsburg, Germany. He was baptised on 23 Jul 1747 in Rendsburg, Germany. Godparents were Abraham Sommer, Gottlied Gummer, Fr.Magdelena ?, Jgf. Ludoviccia Hanniessen. All the children of Johann (incl.Gottlieb) were named after their Godparents. He inherited in 1811 in London. ⁽⁴⁴⁴⁾ inherited money from brother John. Will also mentions Sarah, Henry (son) and John Jacob. He died before 1826. Brother's will shows. Brother Jacob Claus also came to England and is buried at Bunhill Fields. Jacob was still in Germany in 1775 (apprenticeship cert) and we find Gottlieb's 2nd marriage in England in 1787. Presumably the immigration took place during those twelve years. The two brothers seem to have quickly Anglicized the name by dropping the final N.
