Hello! Greetings from the north-eats part of Poland. To be more precise from Sejny. I am the descendant of the Tomkiewiczs family. And I want to find some information about the ancestors of my family that left Poland and went to the U.S. in the 20s. Perhaps you are the ones that can fill in our family tree. If you know the history of your family and heard about the people I have written below please answer my e-mail. We are looking for Paweł Tomkiewicz and his wife's descendants who emigrated to the U.S.A. after 1920. Paweł's father Michał was born in 1858 and died in 1922. We don't know anything else about them. We are also looking for the descendants of Paweł's brother Bronisław Tomkiewicz whose son's name was probably Latoś. / Letos changed his name to Albert after he emmigrated. Most relatives live around Milwaukee. Albert (Letos) had 11 children, Albert jr., Eleanor, William, Earnest, Edward, Isabell, Dora, Marge, Donald, Joseph (my father), and Stephen. The only ones who are still alive are Stephen, Joseph, Donald, Marge, Dora and Isabell./ Jan Tomkiewicz was also an emigrant. He was born in 1858 and was killed in a catastrophe in a mine, probably in the 20s. That is all what we know about his family. We are looking forward to your reply, Ryszard Tomkiewicz.
