The action of Trespass between Joshua Stephens, Jr. Plaintiff, and Thomas Goldsby and Tabith a his wife, defendants. Dismissed the plaintiff being deceased."

Pgs 10-11: "9/424 Albemarle County, St. Ann's Parish - July 25, 1745 Thomas Goldsby , and wife, Tabitha, to Samuel Shelton of same for 320 - 550 acres on the Fluvanna River div iding this land from that of Thomas Goldsby, Jr. whose land was on a creek called Holeman' s Creek - down the side of Fluvanna River to Goldsby's part of the 122 acre grant on the Nort h side of the Fluvanna River: and granted to Thomas Goldsby by three patents dated April 11 , 1732. Court held Thursday 10th da y of March, 1747/8 Present: Allen Howard, Thomas Ballow, Samuel Jordan, William Harris: J ury Thomas II's Will was proven: Present: David Lewis, John Anthony must have been witness ess to the will: The last Will and Testament of Thomas Goolsby deceased was presented in co urt by: Tabitha, widow and son William Goolsby, Exrs and Exextrix. Thomas Goolsby, (Jr . & III ) heir at law (being the eldest son of Thomas Deceased), appeared in court and declar ed he had nothing to object to in the said Will being recorded, where upon the same was prove d and admitted to probate."
