John Taylor and his wife Jane immigrated from Wigan, England to the United States in 1882. Their 12 year old son Thomas, born on March 23, 1880, came with them as well. John and Jane also
had sever other children; John, David, Mary, Sarah, and James.
Thomas married Rose Wienenand in Greensburg,Pennsylvania on January 4, 1893. Rose Wienenand was born on December 28, 1871 in South Greensburg, PA to Michael and Josephine Wienand. Thomas and Rose had 5 children, but only 4 children survived; Thomas, Lilly, John, and Sarah.
John P. Taylor was born at home in Harminie on October 15, 1897. He married Hazel Isabel Kunkle on April 11, 1921. The couple had 5 girls; Pearl, Dorothy, Clara, LaVerne, and Wanda.
