Alex Job was born September 10, 1907, and died January 8, 1986 in Florida. He married Olive Bacon on December 7, 1932, daughter of James Albert Bacon and Mary Thomasina Sloan.

In a letter from George Rennick:
Wirral, New Brunswick, February 18, 1986
"On the Tuesday before we left to go to Ontario my uncle, Alex Job, of Kitchener, was struck by a car while crossing a highway in Florida. His wife, Aunt Olive, was just a step or so behind him but wasn't hurt except a cut nose and broken glasses from being struck by one of his shoes. He lived only a few hours, which was a blessing, for his injuries were terrible.
Uncle Alex was a favourite person with me. He loved children and had a big family of his own and 27 or 8 grandchildren. It was such a nice thing to see nearly all these gathered at the Memorial service in Kitchener a week later."
