I am researching my grandmother,Eleanor Pearl Agnew.
She was born in Scotland,on October 31,1906 and came to Canada
in 1926 at the age of 19.At the time of her immigration to Canada
her mother had passed away ,but, her father was still living.
She came over as a domestic ,possibly through the Salvation Army.
She married a man by the name of Harold Taylor who was born in 1904, and died in 1971 in Canada.
My grandmother died,January 24,1985 and I am hoping to find out as much about her life in Canada and Scotland as possible.
