FIRST GENERATION

1. Richard Thomas Fisher (1) was born in 1793 in Virginia (1850 Census). He died in 1867 in Nash County, North Carolina.

He was married to Caroline Gay (daughter of Charles Gay and Sarah) on 23 Dec 1835 in Nash County, North Carolina. Caroline Gay (1) was born about 1818 in North Carolina. She died about 1851 in Nash County, North Carolina. Richard Thomas Fisher and Caroline Gay had the following children:

child3 ii. James Thomas Fisher(1) was born in 1838 in Nash County, North Carolina. He died before 1850 in Nash County, North Carolina. Drowned in a tub of hot lard.

He was married to Sarah Ann Elizabeth Edwards (daughter of Cullen Edwards and Sarah Pope) on 2 Nov 1853 in Nash County, North Carolina. Sarah Ann Elizabeth Edwards(1) was born in 1831 in Nash County, North Carolina. Richard Thomas Fisher and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Edwards had the following children:
