He was married to Ann CLAGGETT about 1689.

1939. Ann CLAGGETT^{(217) (396) (398)} was born about 1672 in St Leonards, Calvert Co, MD. She died on 27 Aug 1746 in Prince Georges' Co, MD.⁽³⁹⁹⁾ She was buried on 27 Aug 1746 in Prince Georges' Co, MD. Children were:

969 i. Mary Elizabeth VEATCH.
ii. John VEATCH^{(400) (401)} was born about 1695. He died about 1767.
iii. James VEATCH^{(402) (403)} was born about 1696 in Prince Georges' Co, MD. He died in Apr 1762 in Dry Seneca.
iv. Elizabeth VEATCH⁽⁴⁰⁴⁾ was born about 1699.
