Casey was born with a major congenital circulatory heart defect. Corrective surgery was unsucessful. Casey's valient struggle was for naught and after several days of renal failure, he passed away.
Grave side services were officiated by Father Francis Ryan, St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial was in Old Mission Cemetery.
