Donna died on the operating table during surgery to remove a suspected colon cancer.
Visitation was held on 2 March at the Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel. A rosary and vigil was held at 1900 the same day. The funeral service was held 3 March at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby. Father Beryl Gibson officiated. The pallbearers were Marvin Weis, Donald Weis, Cletus Weis, Bob Weis, Dean Weis, Ron Brier, Mike Shirley, and Jerad Johnson. Ken Lang ws the musician.
