It is unsure to me at this point if John's wife's name was Mary McLeod or Kathryn McLeod. It could be that her first name was Kathryn and her mother's name was Mary, her name was Mary Katheryn and her mother's name was also Mary or her first name was Mary and her mother's name was also Mary so she was know as Kathryn. Because I don't know how the information of her mother's name was obtained, it is also possible that her mother's name is still unknown.
