Notes for Rebecca Marie Whaley:
1981 -- Becky was in a head-on collision caused by a drunk driver. Baby Ethan suffered head trauma but recovered ok. Nick suffered a broken left hip, compound fracture of left wrist. Becky had her left hip broken, fractured her skull. Accident happened October 16, 1981 at 10:15 pm. Becky had just picked Nick up at the Kenai Airport -- he had been on the North Slope working for several weeks (the other kids were home with a babysitter.) The injured were transported to Soldotna Hospital and then air-flighted to Providence Hopsital in Anchorage where they underwent surgery.
