Notes for DANIEL PAUL WHITFIELD:
Paul, worked for his father on numerous construction jobs, to include the first work crews on the PA. turnpike. At the beginning of World War II, Paul enlisted in the Army, spent two years and was medically discharged. After this, he went to Letterkenny Army Depot as a construction worker, finally being hired as a truck driver for the Army, and retired from Letterkenny. Paul and wife Velma purchased land in Pleasant Hall, Pa and lived there until 1954.

Notes for HARRY FRANKLIN RINEHART, JR.:
Harry in his youth was known as Popeye. He was in the Korean War, a member of the 3rd (Marne) Infantry Division, 15th Regiment. He was wounded twice, receiving the purple heart with cluster. Harry and Patty were married in Robertsdale, PA., it was in Janurary and there was a heavy snow, and still snowing when my parents and I arrived for the wedding.
