24. John Wilcoxson (80)(81) (82) was born in 1675 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. He died on 27 Mar 1732 or 9 Feb 1733. He has reference number 24.

He was married to Hannah Sheather (daughter of John Sheather and Elizabeth Wellman) in 1703. Hannah Sheather(83) (84) was born on 25 Nov 1681. She died on 8 Nov 1751 or 1763. She was buried in Old Southwest Cemetery, Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT.
John Wilcoxson and Hannah Sheather had the following children:

child130 vii. Ebenezer Wilcoxson(91) (92) was born on 11 Feb 1717. He died on 13 Dec 1753. He has reference number 74. Died single.

child133 x. Amos Wilcoxson was born on 1 Feb 1725 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. He has reference number 77. No information on what became of Amos or if he had a family. Killingworth land records, Vol. 15, pg. 504 shows a deed executed by Amos Wilcox of Conway, MA (Hampshire County) on 2/23/1799 to Cyrus Newton for land at Killingworth. "History of Conway" mentions the marriage of an Amos, who could have been a son of the above, to Sarah Bond, 8/6/1788. The 1790 census also shows an Amos in Conway, together with a Silas, John and Jehiel Wilcox. "History of Orange County", NY mentions a Wilcox family of Minisink, NY, who were descended from an Amos Wilcox who came there "from New England", circa 1770.
