3. Joseph Wilcoxson ⁽¹¹⁾ was born in 1635 in Concord, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 9 Feb 1703 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. He has reference number 3. He resided in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. Second son of William Wilcoxson. Brought by parents to Stratford, CT in 1639. He removed to Killingworth in 1665. The original papers in the settlement of his estate are on file in the Connecticut State Library, Hartford, CT , No. 5717. The widow Ann Wilcoxson was still alive in 1708 when she petitioned for custody of her Farnum grandchildren.

He was married to Ann _______ in 1658 in Stratford, Fairfield Co., CT. Joseph Wilcoxson and Ann _______ had the following children:

18 ii. Thomas Wilcoxson was born on 13 Nov 1661 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. He died in May 1694. Died unmarried He has reference number 18.

+21 v. Nathaniel Wilcoxson.
22 vi. William Wilcoxson^{(12) (13)} was born on 9 Jan 1671 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT. He has reference number 22. No record has been found which indicates that this individual married and had a family. On Feb. 9, 1698 he executed a deed to his younger brother John, which was witnessed by Vincent Meigs and Henry Crane, Jr. He is mentioned again 12/23/1698 as owner of 12 acres "which were formerly "Goodman Shailors".
