7. Hannah Wilcoxson (25)(26) was born in 1644 in Stratford, Fairfield Co., CT. She died on 19 Apr 1722. She has reference number 7. Daughter of William Wilcoxson. Went to Killingworth about 1663 with her mother when the latter became the wife of William Hayden. Soon thereafter, Hannah married her step-brother.
She was married to Daniel
Hayden (son of William Hayden and Sarah
Birdseye) on 17 Mar 1664. Daniel Hayden
(27) was born on 2 Sep 1640 in Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He died
on 22 Mar 1712/13. It is to be remarked that William Hayden of Windsor has no
name-line descendants except those who descend through Lieut. Daniel and Hannah
Wilcoxson. The family of which this couple were the progenitors has contributed
many distinguished individuals to various departments of public life and private
industry. An outstanding contemporary representative of this family was the late
Senator Carl T. Hayden, AZ. Hannah Wilcoxson and Daniel Hayden had the following
