Includes NotesNotes for Louis J. Musolino:
Louis J. Musolino, my uncle, is well remembered for his Italian Spaghetti and other great foods he fixed. He also was the owner/operator of Luigie's Pizza House at 628 Hampshire Street, Quincy, Ill. At one time he was the motion picture projectionist at one of the movie houses on Hampshire St.
Uncle Louis' married my mother's sister, Goldie Elick in 1933.
I remember well a lot of the time we spent visiting with Aunt Goldie and the children, Joan, Nancy, Sonny, Mary Kay and Mary Lou. Mary Kay and I were about the same age, and enjoyed playing all day out on the roof in back of their apt. Uncle Louis' business was on the 1st floor, just down the stairs. At lunch time we'd go downstairs to his pizza place and get fed lunch. My favorite was his huge hamburgers. I will never forget the good times visiting Uncle Louie and Aunt Goldie. I saw them last in 1964.
