This is a site for researching and celebrating the families of our origin. The Wogstad/Bjerke families have their roots in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The DeVinny family is more complex with lines tracing back through Ireland and England to France.
We are interested in the history and heritage of those families which immigrated to America in the 1800's.
We also treasure the ever-growing families with their American branches now spreading throughout the land.
The Wogstad Family in America has a base in South Dakota and Minnesota, but is found in Texas and the Southwest as well as Washington State and the Northwest. The Norlander contingent is represented in upper plains and mountains.
The DeVinny Family also has a Minnesota base but a history leading back through Ohio, Pennsylvania and the East. It too has Southwestern expressions, in Arizona and Texas.
