Effie Castleberry (b. December 20, 1891, d. September 1971)

Effie Castleberry (daughter of John Henry Castleberry and Isabella Delaware Holbrook) was born December 20, 1891 in Forsyth county Ga, and died September 1971 in Cobb County. She married Grover Cleveland Leach, son of Ransom P Andrew Leach and Hubbard Baker.

Notes for Effie Castleberry:
Was told she was about 35 when she married and was a grouchy woman, always yelling at her husband and son.
Iris Bonner's ( her step daughter) son said he remembered going to see her and she would make him homemade mayonaise.
She worked in her sister Addie and her husband Jewell's store when she was older and Bud (her son) ran away from home. He went to Macon, Ga. and lived with older sister Iris and her family. After a couple of years he joined the service.
