She states that GranMa Virinia died when Grandma Gennie was 12 years old at which time she went to live with her by her uncle, William (Uncle Bill) Thompson and his wife, Demaris (Aunt Maris) Thompson. She lived with them until she married Grandpa Steve when she was 19 years old.
