Mary Lou has always been very special to me probably because she married my Uncle James. She reminds me a lot of my grandmother, Adria Port, with her gentle ways. I can remember when she and James were married and came home from their honeymoon. Their house was across the street from my grandparents. As soon as they drove in the yard I was right there. I think I spent the night with them their first night back. When James worked night shifts at IP Co. I always stayed with her while he was at work. I can remember her driving before she got her drivers license so I was always her lookout for patrolmen. My uncle could have looked the world over and never found a better wife than he got with her.
