Services for Mark A. Young, 34, of 2420 Windsor Ave. will be at 11 a.m
Saturday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Dubuque. Burial will be in
Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at
Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where the parish wake service will
be said at 4 p.m.
Mr. Young lastly was a dietary aide at Mount Carmel.
He was born on March 1, 1957, in Dubuque, son of Emmett E. and
Ada MArie ( Lugrain) Young. He died at noon Wednesday, Jan 29, 1992,
at Mercy Health Center St.Joseph's Unit.
He married Cindy Tweedy on May 6, 1988, in Dubuque; She survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Krishna Young at home; three sons,
Ronald J., Mark A. Jr. and Matthew L., all at home; his mother, Ada M. Young
of Dubuque; four sisters, Bernice Young, Mrs. William ( Linda) Strong,
Mrs.Eugene( Phyllis) Ousley,and Mrs. James (Kathy) Carner, all of Dubuque;
and six brothers, EmmettW.( Pat), John F.(and Kay), Robert E.( And Betty),
Dennis J. ( And Mary Ann), all of Dubuque; Thomas E.( and Shirley) of
Tullahoma, Tenn., and Edward E.( and Donna), of Sprinfield, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett on March 4, 1959.
A Mark A. Young Memorial Fund has been established.

Infant Robert Young
Robert Young, Infant son of Mr.and Mrs. Emmett Young,
1140 Main Street, died at Finely Hospital Monday morning
at 6:30 o'clock. The baby was born Saturday.
The funeral was held from the Didesch Funeral Home
Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with burial in Linwood Cemetery.
Survivors are his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Emmett Young; one brother
Edward Young; one sister, Bernice Young, all at home; and his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lugrain, Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by one brother.

Services for Mrs. Veda B. ( Young) Kersch, 75, of 642 Eighth Ave.,
will be held at 10 a.m. thirsday at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will
be held in Linwood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffmann Mortuary,
where the New Liturgical Rite will be held at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Kersch died Tuesday in Mercy Medical Center. She was born
in Boscobel, Wis., and eas a member of the Rosary Society of
St. Patrick's parish.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clyde( Delores A.) Burrows and
Mrs. Mark ( Patrick) Anglin, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. John
( Betty Jean) Trybus of Clifford, Mich; 15 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence E. Young of Chicago, and a
sister, Mrs. Mary Cox of Los Angeles. Parents: Edgar E. Young and Jennie Childs.

Children were: Delores A. Kersch, Patricia Kersch, Betty Jean Kersch.
